Tim Richmond has been racing for over 15 years, starting in Kid Karts at just six years old. By 17, he made his Sportsman ARCA debut in the SCCA, and three years later, he stepped onto the professional racing scene with Wayne Peterson Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series. In 2025, he joined Empire Racing, continuing his pursuit of success in ARCA Series.
Off the track, Tim is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys summers on the water and spending time with family. He has a deep passion for classic and performance cars, often taking joyrides in his 1978 Ford Bronco and Shelby GT350 Mustang. When he’s not behind the wheel of a race car, he’s keeping the lights on—literally—as a lineman for ComEd and a proud member of the IBEW.
A native of Ottawa, Illinois, Tim stands 6’1” and is always chasing the next challenge fueled by horsepower, hard work, and a passion for racing.
